Easdras and his wife Lettice are listed on the baptismal records of their children, Lettice, Grace, Elizabeth, and John, at the St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Fressingfield, Suffolk, England. Fressingfield is located near the border of Norfolk and Suffolk counties, England. When our John Botwright grew up and married Elizabeth Cropley, they named their second daughter Lettice. This could be the connection between Easdras and Lettice and our John Botwright, and makes them candidates for the parents of our John.

Easdras died just two years after the birth of John Botwright. This may be why John did not name one of his sons in honor of Easdras, as he would have grown up not knowing his father and quite likely his mother, Lettice, may have remarried at some point. Source: George Boatright
