Henry Levi Boatwright, 86, of Eastpoint, died Sunday, March 13, 2011.
Mr. Boatwright was born Nov. 8, 1924 in Milton, son of the late Walter Boatwright and Ethel Lee Boatwright. He was a commercial fisherman by trade.
Mr. Boatwright was a generous man who was a friend to many and a very loving family man. We will always remember his wisdom and strong guidance in our daily lives. His memory will be cherished in our hearts for many years to come.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Osborn Boatwright, of Eastpoint; his brothers J. T. Boatwright and Roy Boatwright, both of Eastpoint; his sister LenaMae Mathis, of Eastpoint; his four children, Dene Nordbrok (Steve), Steve Boatwright (Cheryl), Sharon Boatwright and Phyllis Appleby, all of Eastpoint; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and many friends.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Gearldean Boatwright, a sister-in-law Velma Boatwright; and a brother-in-law Melton Mathis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15 at United Baptist Church, Eastpoint, with the Reverends Bobby Shiver and Robert Kimberling officiating according to Southerland Family Funeral Home, Port St. Joe.
Burial will follow in the Eastpoint Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
