She was a widow when Daniel Boatwright married her. Celia Senterfit was probably the daughter of Henry Senterfit. Henry was a Loyalist during the Revolutionary War. South Carolina records show that he along with many more loyalists were massacred during the War. Most of the Senterfits lived in Lexington County.
