Services were held Sunday, December 14, at 9:00 a.m. for Dewhitt Boatright. Mr. Boatright died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ruby Reynalds, here in Wilburton, December 12. Mr. Boatright was one of the pioneer citizens of Latimer County having been here over 50 years, coming here from Arkansas. He worked in the mines in various parts of the country.
Rev. Carl Johnson officiated at the services which were held at the Center Point Church. Interment was in the Center Point Cemetery.
There are 7 children surviving, the eldest Will lives in Montana and was not able to be present for the funeral. Others are Preston, Peacock, Texas, Elmer, Tulsa, Chesley, Wilburton, Mrs. Susie Wagner, Tulsa, Mrs Dora Ward and Mrs. Ruby Reynalds of Wilburton.
Pallbearers were Wesley Smith, Charlie Smith, Bro. Hollenbeck, Glen Morgan, Sam Deloach and William Hanrahan.

Etta Mae Hollon, Wilburton, was born December 3, 1876 in Tuskaloosa, Alabama and died in Wilburton, March 23, 1972, at the age of 95 years. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith. Services were Saturday, March 25, at Burke-Jones Chapel with J. L. Jones officiating.
Burial was in city cemetery under the direction of Burke-Jones funeral home in Wilburton.
Pallbearers were Robert Bloxham, Cecil Baker, Jerry Buckles, Clyde Petree, Floyd Chester and Elmer Prince.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dora Ward, Wilburton and Mrs. Ruby Thompson, Hartshorne; two sons: Elmer Boatright of Tulsa and Chesley Boatright of Wilburton; 23 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
